Went to Tuckers with some girlfriends for brunch Monday. WOW. Amazing. They have an omelette and crepe bar that was so yummy. And the dessert station blew us away. Chocolate cake was to die for :)
My brother and I are long time fans of Mother Tuckers, going back to the 1970's in Winnipeg. With Tucker's Marketplace open again in Ottawa, we were happy to be in the 'right place at the right time' and went for lunch. The staff was great, from greeting to assisting in the buffet choices when necessary to ensuring we were enjoying our experience. We had a nice chat with the manager, hearing about the history of the location. And of course the food...just excellent, both in choice and taste. I highly recommend Tucker's Marketplace and will be back soon!
The food was perfect as always and what a nice relaxing atmosphere. I always recommend Tuckers to everyone!! We were so well taken care of. Any help James was there. He checked the appropriate amount time if we needed anything. Always a smile! I have to say if a video needs to be recorded on customer service, he is the employee to do it. He should be employee of the month.
Came here for Father’s Day! Have not been here since it closed before COVID and have been so excited to come back my expectations proved me right and I’m glad. The server Andre was absolutely phenomenal to every detail extremely kind and had us laughing and we had a great conversation. food was spectacular every single item I chose was consistent and not only that but I came back to eat multiple items more times over because of how good they were. The chef Ali informed me of every dish and aided to my nut allergies not even a single one had any issue or cross contamination and he was right. 4 plates total lol. What an absolute great experience and I’m so pleased to have decided to come to tuckers again and will be returning very soon. Thanks again for the great service and amazing food was so impressed. This is exactly the old tuckers we remember.
I had a wonderful night! My server was moundir, the carving station tasted wonderful. The ham cooked to perfection. Tuckers is a staple of Ottawa. It has changed a lot but it’s even better than it was before.
Wooow. Most time I eat, pay then I go! But today I was like noooo I can’t leave without making a comment about this beautiful place!! Everything inside this place is woow especially classy and fancy employees... very clean, beautiful music and an inviting atmosphere! Youcef did an amazing job taking care my family!!! Customer service is not for everyone but only to those gifted like Youcef. Thank you very much!! My steak guy at the back gives the meat with so much respect!
Rhonda was my server and she was fabulous! So friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Came for my b-day and was very impressed. Supposedly the old kitchen manager is back and I can believe it. While the selection is a little smaller due to space the food had that old taste and feel. Everything was fresh warm and stocked. I of course finished it off with a little chocolate fountain and diy sundae. Would recommend and would come again
We recently hosted our baby shower at Tucker's Marketplace with around 40 guests, and it was a wonderful experience. We booked the semi-private dining hall and added some decorations to suit the baby shower theme. We chose Tucker's because of its wide variety of food options, which included vegetarian, halal, and allergy-friendly choices. Most importantly, we wanted our guests to enjoy unlimited food, something regular caterers typically don’t offer. From the beginning, communication with Jason, the Manager, was smooth and prompt via email. He was very responsive and ensured that all our needs were met. The team was flexible and accommodating, even providing us with a microphone, which allowed us to conduct a few fun games during the event. We also had the opportunity to speak with the chef and requested a couple of special dishes, which were prepared wonderfully. Our guests were well taken care of by the staff—Nisha, Youcef, and Ali—who consistently checked in and ensured everything ran smoothly. Many of our guests personally complimented the food and appreciated our choice of venue. I highly recommend Tucker's Marketplace for anyone looking to host a celebration with a diverse menu and unlimited dining. The excellent service and thoughtful accommodations made our special day even more memorable. I have added some decor pictures to give some idea of how the ambience was. Thank you everyone!
